CCRA- Certified Canine Rehab Assistant
Courtney
Courtney, brings years of hands-on experience and a heartfelt passion for helping animals heal and thrive. Specializing in canine rehabilitation, she implements customized treatment plans using TENS/NMES, laser therapy, and underwater treadmill sessions to support each dog’s recovery and long-term well-being.
Courtney’s passion for rehab began with her beloved family dachshund, Aimee, who was diagnosed with IVDD. After undergoing surgery at age 6 and later recovering from a second episode through rehab, acupuncture, and laser therapy, Aimee became the heart of Courtney’s mission. Her remarkable recovery inspired Courtney to dedicate her career to helping pets—especially dachshunds—regain their mobility and quality of life. Aimee’s legacy continues to guide Courtney’s work and fuels her commitment to educating clients about IVDD and the unique needs of long-backed breeds.
She currently works under the guidance of our Rehabilitation DVM, Dr. Green, CCAT (Certified Companion Animal Rehabilitation Therapist), ensuring each patient receives high-quality, evidence-based care.
Courtney shares her life with four wonderful dogs: Harley and Breezy, her dachshunds, along with Blinker, a lab mix, and Cyrus, a white shepherd. Her deep empathy, personal experience, and clinical expertise make her a trusted partner on every pet’s road to recovery.
